The A'van Club of Australia Inc

The Club commenced in 1999 following a mailout to known A’vanners. The response was overwhelming. The Club has grown rapidly to where there are now over 1,100 A’van members involving over 2,200 A’vanners in all states of Australia.

To be eligible for membership a person must own an A’van folding camper.
A'van pop-tops and A'van caravans are excluded to keep member numbers manageble. Owners of these A'vans may join a caravan club in their area, or alternatively click here to register your interest in starting a A'van pop-top & caravan club.

Of the membership approx. 94% own Aliners & Cruiseliners and 5% Sportliners.

Chapters of the Club exist in all states of Australia with an integral link to the Australian Committee, the Executive of which operates from Melbourne.

The club also have a link to the U.S.A. and their US counterparts - the Aliner Owners Club.

Each state has Co-ordinators responsible for the operation of Club activities in that state. The Club also has 3 state websites run by state members. See below for links.

Australian Club joining fee is $10 plus annual subscription of $10.

Australian wide issues, interests and state activities are listed in the Club’s Australian newsletter published in June, October and February. Members receive an annual AMD (Australian Members’ Directory) listing members’ names throughout Australia.

The Club also maintains a register of members’ towing vehicles - this can be of great help to people considering an A’van purchase or changing to a different vehicle.

At Caravan Shows Club members are often available to talk about A’van folding campers to people interested. Club member involvement at shows is usually arranged by agents making their own arrangements directly through the Club’s state co-ordinators.

The Club’s 6th Australian Gathering was held at Nuriootpa, S.A. in April, 2006

The 8th Australian Gathering will be held at Swan Hill on 19th to 22nd April 2007

A list of local gathering dates and locations can be found on each website.
